Dr. Aaron Hammons : Profile

Dr. Aaron Hammons joined Elite Sports and Spine in October 2007. Both he and Dr. Scott graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1998. After graduating from Palmer, Dr. Aaron ran a successful practice in Santa Clara, CA. During that time, he became certified as a Qualified Medical Evaluator, writing disability reports for injured workers. He worked extensively with injured police officers and firefighters in the Silicon Valley.

Dr. Hammons sold his Santa Clara practice in 2005. He moved to Dallas, TX, where he practiced for two years. However, he chose to return to Bellevue in 2007 to practice with his brother.

Dr. Hammons brings a wealth of experience in the medical field to this practice. His interest in medicine began early on when he worked as a life guard and as a ski patrol. He graduated from Washington State University in 1990 with a B.S. in Exercise Science. He was also an Athletic Trainer at WSU. He then worked in the Physical Therapy field until deciding to pursue his Chiropractic career.

Dr. Aaron, like Dr. Scott, agrees that a combined approach to patient care works best. He combines soft tissue (muscle, tendon and ligament) therapy with chiropractic manipulation to achieve total rehabilitation. Dr. Hammons is certified in Active Release Techniques and Graston Techniques. He also usesKinesio Taping.

When not working with Dr. Scott, Dr. Aaron enjoys hiking, wakeboarding and swimming. He is also an avid weight lifter.
